Coffee in Cleveland
The Copper Moon — from our visit

The Copper Moon

Reviewed August 12, 2023

Summary

The Copper Moon is located near Playhouse Square in Downtown Cleveland. Parking was pretty difficult since there isn’t really anything but valet in front (because it’s located inside/outside a hotel). We parked about a street over, which isn’t a huge deal, but I wouldn’t be there past 5 PM by myself… Anyways… The cafe was very small. It’s not a place to get coffee and chat, it’s just a grab-and-go kinda thing before work (or for coffee people like us). The person working was very polite and made our drinks pretty fast even though there were customers waiting at both entrances (one outside the hotel and one inside). This cafe wasn’t bad, but it probably won’t be one we go to multiple times like some of our favorites that we frequent. Also interesting to note, there are about 4–5 other coffee shops surrounding this area within .1 miles and this one wasn’t that busy. Interesting to see which one would be the busiest on a Saturday morning.

Worth noting… don’t bring kids here (don’t ask).

What we ordered

Sarah: Iced White Mocha — honestly not bad. It’s one of the most coffee-forward mochas that I’ve gotten. Not super sweet but also not super bitter.

Joe: Iced Vanilla Latte — your average everyday vanilla latte. Nothing special. I’ve had many better, and a few worse. I think someone slipped a drop of hazelnut in, unfortunately for me.
