Goodkind Coffee

Summary
This was by far one of the busiest coffee places that we’ve been to so far. We took that as a good sign when we walked in. They had a pretty good selection of espresso drinks as well as cold brew and drip coffee. This is yet another coffee shop located in Lakewood across from Barrio. Luckily enough we got a parking spot right in front which rarely happens in Lakewood. The inside was a little hectic because it was very busy and almost every table was full. They allow pets inside and I think there were 3 dogs while we were there that were just chilling. I did really like the design on the inside. It however did not meet all the specifics we listed in our blog about what a good coffee shop has. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast they made our order considering the amount of people in line. I was a little nervous when I saw the different types of beans offered at the counter and when I looked they all had fruit in them. I’m not a huge fan of a hint of fruit in my coffee and for whatever reason, fruity coffee gives me more heartburn.
What we ordered
Sarah: The Grasshopper — a cold brew concentrate with cream, housemade mint syrup and chocolate. Overall the initial taste was good, but it did have fruit notes in the aftertaste. One hour into having it and my cup is still about half full.
Joe: Iced Vanilla Latte — one of my favorite vanilla lattes I’ve gotten so far. Had a unique taste!
